Our Mission
After losing our Mom we decided the best way to honor her memory was to set up a foundation dedicated to improving the lives of dogs. She was particularly passionate about dogs that had been neglected, abused, or simply unwanted. That three-legged Doberman was the first in a long line of rescue dogs that she took in, and she found her blind pug, Gracie, as part of a foster program. If she had lived there is little doubt our mother would have accomplished her lifelong dream of owning property where all kinds of dogs in need of love and a safe haven could reside.
The Waters Foundation for Dogs is dedicated to improving the lives of our canine friends through supporting dog rescues, humane societies and the kinds of non-profit organizations that Jody regularly supported. Once the fund is firmly established it is our intent to make yearly grants to the wide array of organizations that make it their business to keep dogs safe and help them find new homes. We can think of no better way to honor our mother’s memory.
Thank you in advance for honoring Jody Waters. We appreciate any level of contribution and know that your donation will be used to help dogs in need.”
